Burned MinneBar 2011

Rumor has it that MinneBar is the largest BarCamp in North America, with 1200 registrations, and probably ~1000 people in attendance.

We burned it. Summary from May 7, and overall.

Thanks to progenitors Ben and Luke as always, along with new get-it-done organizer Adrienne.

We're burnin' CHI 2011

We haven't posted in awhile, but we've been busy behind the scenes. We're geeks, not marketers, damnit! But hey, listen to this.

We're delighted to announce that CHI 2011 has decided to use EventBurn! The Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems, or CHI 2011, is the premier international conference of human-computer interaction. CHI 2011 focuses on leveraging our diversity and connecting people, cultures, technologies, experiences, and ideas.

EventBurn at minnedemo

We presented at minnedemo, Minnesota's premier tech demo event. It was a fun and impressive variety of demos: free, commercial, nerd to the max (in the best way). See them here. See our demo (pretty much a black screen with audio) here.

We announced a minnedemo special for EventBurn: you can try it for as little as $10! While supplies last. You probably spent more than that on coffee last week, so just do it.

EventBurn listens to Twitter, Facebook, and Flickr for a given topic, and automatically shows the best stuff: top links, photos, reshares, users, and more.  EventBurn is for event organizers and attendees, webmasters who need automated custom content, market researchers, curious people. It is an affordable and easy way to quickly create and present the best information about a given topic.
